Celebuzz Celebrates Scott Disick

Despite the size of the “celebrities” tag on our sidebar, we don’t really pride ourselves on celebrity fatherhood news. But it keeps finding us.

So we’ll just leave this here: Celebuzz posted some of their favorite father-son moments from Scott Disick and his son, Mason. Scott, of course, is Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend. And since you’re sooooo interested, Scott and Kourtney just announced that they’ve got another baby on the way.

Check Celebuzz‘s pics in the sauce. You know, or don’t. It’s cool bro.

Who’da ever thunk that we’d talk so nicely about Lady Gaga? The pop star, who’s made a career off of scaring parents into shielding their childrens’ eyes, has an awfully human side that folks only see off-stage.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, gives half of her earnings to her dear ol’ dad, Joe. The Daily Mail points out that it’s so rare for a pop star to go halfsies with their dad that the last time it happened was with Elvis.

Gaga also bought a restaurant for her father, naming it after her late sister Joanne. It’s great to see a pop star that has a good relationship with their family. There are so many family-manager-money situations that go bad (I’m not even going to name them) that it’s nice to see one that’s going so right.

You can read more about Stefani Germanotta and her dad at the Daily Mail (sauced below). Also, if Gaga would ever like to join 8BitDad for our podcast, we’ll keep a seat open for her. Just sayin’.

Well, we knew it was too bad to be true: Justin Bieber is about to be cleared from claims that he fathered a baby with Mariah Yeater.

We’ll keep this brief since you’ve probably been drowning in Bieber news elsewhere. TMZ reports that Yeater’s friend ratted out some damning text messages from her, asking for someone to erase her mother’s text messages naming a different father. There’s also mention in the text of paying the person off once “we get paid.”

So, that’s (probably) that.

Sorry Justin, we canceled all the cool stuff we rented for your dadchelor party – the keg you weren’t going to drink from, the chocolate fountain (you probably were going to drink from), the inflatable bounce house. And, well, we had a crap-ton of diapers for you, but we’ve still got the receipts so we’re taking those back.

Justin Bieber, Welcome To 8BitDad

We here at 8BitDad would like to be the first to welcome The Bieb’s into fatherhood. And say whaaaaaaaat – we beat Perez to the punch on this?

Well, it’s not an easy role, being a father. Well at first it is, you know, since the woman – or girl in this case – has to do all the work, being pregnant and ultimately – again, in this case – keeping it quiet for 12 months.

So before shocking allegations are revealed, I’d like to just say that this dude is 17. AND a pisces. The f*cker shares my birthday of March 1st. I know for a FACT that Bieber is in some serious sh*t with this chick because after reading their “brief” uh.. 30 seconds? Really, dude? Damn.

Okay, I’m google’ing this girl, Mariah Yeater… and… great. All I come up with is Rumer Willis. Gross.

Anyways, you’re in for some serious Conrad Murray competition for some ‘bloids, as we like to call them ’round these parts, so have a merry f*cking Christmas. Cause that’s how long it’s gonna take for all this sh*t to be sorted out.

For the record, I’m gonna call this one as truth. I’m not betting, but I will go on record today, November 1st, saying that this dude will have to get a blood test and he will ultimately end up on Maury.

I’m never wrong.

Hugh Grant, who is no stranger to odd relationships with the ladies, has become a first-time father.

The 51 year old actor, who you might remember from all of your wife’s and mom’s favorite movies, “is the delighted father of a baby girl,” according to his spokesperson. Grant had a “fleeting” romance with a gal, and though they are no longer dating, they are on good terms and plan on raising their daughter.

It’s great to see a celebrity dad that’s proud to have a kid. Regardless of the situation, their kid needs to be taken care of like any other baby, and we wish the best of luck to Grant and the mother of his child.

Actor Mike Myers Becomes Father at 47

E! reports that 47 year old actor Mike Myers, who you might have seen and heard all over movies for 20 years or so, fathered a child with wife Kelly Tisdale. The baby, whose name is Spike, was born two weeks ago, though the news emerged late yesterday due to the couple’s privacy wishes.

Also, I intentionally avoided “mini me” jokes and opted for a “Wayne’s World” header.

Fathers & Families reports that actor Jon Cryer, who you might know from a little show called “Two and a Half Men,” is paying child support for his son. Okay, no big deal – this sort of thing happens.

But what is a little odd is that Jon Cryer is in 96% custody of his son! OMFGWTF!

Gordon Ramsay Sues Father-in-Law

Gordon Ramsay took time out of his schedule to lay down a lawsuit against his father-in-law and former executive chef, Chris Hutcheson. In the 42-page court document, The Register reports, Ramsay accused Hutcheson of ” hiring IT expert Kevin Fung to use keylogging Trojans to steal passwords from several computers.”

Ramsay had fired Hutcheson last October. Ramsay alleges that Hutcheson added his wife and son to the payroll without approval, and withdrew a pile of money to fund a double-life with another partner and two children.

8BitDad got a hold of Ramsay’s schedule for the work-week, and here are the highlights:

  • Monday: Scream “This wellington is RAWWWWW.” Have editors create montage of me throwing food and yelling “RAW!”
  • Tuesday: Tell a chef that he/she is a donkey.
  • Wednesday: Sue in-laws.
  • Thursday: Shut down the Blue kitchen.
  • Friday: Let two chefs go instead of one, and tell everyone to get some rest because it’s going to be a long day tomorrow.

Family businesses are a difficult mix of, well, family and business. We’ve reported on the brighter side of family business, but as Ramsay and his in-laws illustrate, things don’t always end well.
