Just a couple of days ago, we talked about an NME article that reported Adele’s promise to spit in her father’s face if she ever saw him again. Adele’s father, Mark Evans, has been interviewed again, of course, and can’t figure out why Adele’s ticked.

“I can’t believe she said that,” Evans said. “It’s devastating. I don’t know where it’s come from.”

It should be noted that Evans left Adele’s mother, Penny Adkins, when Adele was only two years old. Yadda yadda yadda, zip ahead 20ish years, then look back at Evans with his hands up and a confused face. I mean, there’s other parts of the story too, but why ruin a quick update with details?
