Adele, who we can now assume doesn’t like her dad much, said if she ever sees him, she “will spit in his face.”

Mark Evans, Adele’s father, sold a story last year to The Sun, declaring in it that his lack of relationship with his daughter tears him up, and he has “regretted that every second of every day to this moment now.”

Adele’s not impressed, and is angry that Evans wouldn’t simply tell her these things instead of the media. According to Adele, she and her father haven’t talked for close to 10 years. Evans on the other hand, says they see each other every couple of weeks.

So, there’s obviously something going on here. We’ll just butt-out for now.

I love being a father. There are so many life-changing things that go along with fatherhood – and so many incredible comforts that come from having that little beast in my life. But you also know that being a father means life changes and discomforts too – fatherhood would be too perfect if it were all about being proud and comfortable all the time.

There are a lot of awkward uncertainties I face in fatherhood: How do I provide for my family? How do I teach my son all of the right lessons in life? How do I protect my son from danger?

And how, I’ve got to ask, am I supposed to snuggle with my kid when I wake up with morning wood?

The kicker, which is no surprise thanks to my tell-all title and image, is that the granddaughter was black – the grandfather was white. As always, the devil’s in the details.
